Bedrest Week 1
I have managed to survive one whole week of bedrest (thankfully, though, it's at my own house and I can get up from time to time). Considering I'm not really a lazy person (used to be though) and am quite the busybody, having to slow down so much has been a rude awakening. I've slept in, laid around, read, spent a lot of time on the computer, had a few visits and phone calls (which keep me SANE!) and just plain been lazy. I told Clint last night I felt like I was being lazy and useless, but I'm really not because I'm working really hard to keep growing this little person in here! I went to the doctor today and she said that I have improved. So, I asked if I could go back to work and she very quickly said no! I tried. The past week has gone by surprisingly fast, so here's hoping the next 6 or 7 go by fast too! Kiddo has to keep on cookin.

A few more baby shower pics
I'm so glad Alicia was able to come and bring little Ava!
Check out this super duper cute cake! Made by Sam's (modeled after something I found online), and all the other decorations were done by Nina. I'm so impressed!
Thanks to Caroline for all her hard work in making these super-dee-duper cute favors for the shower. They are little Christmas ornaments with M&Ms in the box!
My child's first LSU article of clothing!
Vickie gave us this adorable reversible outfit (is it a John John?) and I love it! Mandi, as soon as the doc allows me to go up the stairs again, I will look at the tag and tell you the brand.

Baby Shower in Jackson
My sweet Puddon made the trip to Jackson for the weekend for my shower, and I am ever so grateful! She did really really well too! I'm especially glad I got to see her since it will be a while before I get to go home again.
Here are my hostesses, some of my BFFs, Anna and Nina. They did a faboosh job!

3D Ultrasound
Last Monday (before all the preeclampsia hoopla, we went and had a 3D Ultrasound done. Is this picture not awesome? Mama, Vickie and Clint all got to go in, and Cash was cooperative for about a minute. This was the best picture we got of his face and before he put his hand over his face the rest of the time. His tentative weight was 4 lbs 4 oz - big boy, and he has a head full of hair. Everyone seems to think he looks like me. What do you think?

Time to start updating again
Now that I will be on this bedrest for a while (yes, I said bedrest, thanks to preeclampsia), I will have no excuse but to update my blog. I'm 31 1/2 weeks along, but this baby still needs to cook a little longer, so I'm going to do my best to keep him in here as long as I can. Needless to say, it appears that I will have to cancel my baby shower back home and move up the one they were planning to have me at work. Please keep us in your prayers that we are safe and healthy!
