First time going to church
While we were home, Cash and I went to church with BG, Mama and Klint. He slept the first half and was happy and awake the second half, even though I just knew he would cry any minute to eat. He sure got lots of attention after the service! However, I am an idiot, and did not plan well. I failed to realize the importance of this day until the day before. I didn't make Clint go, I forgot good shoes (wore my flippy floppies) and forgot to pack anything for Cash to wear. We don't really own a pair of shoes for him right now so I didn't have any of those either. Luckily the day before when I was in Monroe I went to a consignment store and found a super cute Feltman Bros outfit. It's a 9 month and it tad big, but it had to do.
Better late than never
The first week of July Cash and I went home to spend the week with my family and friends in Louisiana. I know it's a bit late, but here are some pictures from our trip. Mama and Vickie came and got us on Sunday, and Clint came down the following weekend to bring us back. I really enjoyed our visit, as it is the first time I have been home since Christmas (VERY difficult for me because I am used to going home every couple of months). I'm not sure when we will make the trip again. I'm waiting for Cash to get better control of his head so I don't have to reach back and set it back up in his car seat. When he does that, which should be soon, we will likely make the trip just the two of us.

Photo shoot at Sears
Cash is only 6 weeks old and I have already taken him to Hill Photography and Sears to have his picture made. I can't help it. He's only this little for a short time, and everyone knows what a photoholic I am. I mean, one of my pregnancy projects was to scan and organize (hard copies and digitally) ALL of mine and Clint's pictures. I also scanned tons of pics from my mom and grandmothers. Anyway, I thought these pics at Sears turned out great!
Visit to Chester County and my office
Sweet Judge McKenzie just came right in and scooped Cash up from Jeanette to hold him. How sweet!
Anita and Cash
Melissa and Cash (I somehow managed to get to the office on a day when half of them were gone! Oh well, I'll be back to work in three weeks so they will see plenty of me). Boo that I have to go back and leave my kiddo.
And after being passed around all day, he was worn slap out and napped for like five hours!

Cash's first dip in the pool
We finally decided it was time to dip the little fella....the water temperature today was 88 degrees, and we waited until about 8 PM to take him out because it is simply too hot during the day right now. He seems to like the water!
Cash's Nursery
The lighting didn't turn out so great I guess because I had the curtains closed, but you get the picture! Lots of blue and brown, and all the artwork you see is by my BFF Sarah Strong Morris of Bee-Vine Creations. She is so fabulous!! Thanks again SS!
This wall is a lot bigger than I thought, so I have to find something to go on either side of this canvas. I'm thinking monkeys.
The furniture all came from Babytime. This particular canvas on top of the hutch was done by a girl I went to church with and my college roommate, Lesli Preaus Thomas. Such talented folks!
